Upgraded valve springs for tuned engine?
Mildly remapped my 2.0 TFSI Audi, planning bigger turbo later. Stock springs might float at higher RPM. Anyone fitted upgraded springs? Need stronger ones without killing idle or adding too much stress.

For stage 1-2 tunes, stock springs often hold, but once you push revs or boost, dual springs or higher-rate ones prevent float and valve bounce. I did a spring upgrade during head work- went progressive rate for better control without excessive seat pressure. Found good aftermarket valve spring sets at https://elartcom.eu/categories/cylinder-head-parts-123 - they stock performance and OEM-style springs for VW/Audi 2.0 TFSI, including kits with retainers and locks. Chose ones rated for 8000+ rpm safely. Installed with new seals and titanium retainers- revs cleaner, no float even at redline now. Idle unaffected, no coil bind issues. If you're going further with cams/turbo, do springs early. Their category covers many EA888 variants- easy to match your engine.
